How AI Supports My Design Process

AI in my design workflow

Over the past year, I’ve brought AI into my design workflow. It helps me move faster, collaborate earlier with engineers, designers, and PMs, and focus on what really matters. AI helps me stay creative, communicate with clarity, and simplify complexity, bringing ideas to life faster. No more filler text or lifeless prototypes.

Custom GPTs I’ve Built

Why?

Over time, I noticed my team and I were running into the same challenges, messy copy handoffs, rushed onboarding, and vague prompt-writing. So, I built a set of GPTs to solve these pain points:

A UX writing coach for designers and PMs. It helps create sharper microcopy for buttons, tooltips, errors, and onboarding.

RESULTS

Remove fluff and jargon

Reduce friction through clear microcopy

Suggest multiple versions (A/B ready)

An onboarding navigator for SaaS teams. It helps structure flows, choose tone, and avoid common onboarding pitfalls.

RESULTS

Know which AI tools matter, why they matter, and how to use them effectively.

Automate repetitive research, ideation, and content tasks.

A prompt builder for product thinkers. It helps non-technical teammates get better results from AI without overthinking.

RESULTS

Confidence that your product is focused, usable, and prototype-ready

AI imagery tools

I’ve been casually exploring and following other creators. The work people produce is incredible. A key takeaway: strong prompts often reference art history, genres, and specific artists.

I use AI at different stages of my design process to save time, spark ideas, and keep the focus on users.

Research & Discovery

Analyze survey responses, cluster feedback, and spot themes faster than manual sorting. This means I can spend less time filtering and more time understanding.

Ideation & Exploration

I use AI to brainstorm interface patterns, compare UX approaches, and generate multiple copy directions.

Prototyping & Testing

AI tools like Lovable, Figma Make, and Cursor support rapid prototyping and help me create clear, scenario-based tasks for usability testing.

Polishing & Delivery

AI tools like Lovable, Figma Make, and Base44 support rapid prototyping and help me create clear, scenario-based tasks for usability testing.

For the Figma Hackathon, I built a focus timer that helps you disconnect and recharge using Figma Make. I combined Vibe coding with CSS to bring the final result to life.

Vibe Experiment

I made a focus timer to help break work into short, focused sessions. It’s kind of like a mini reset button for your brain. When you're deep in tasks or starting to feel overwhelmed, stepping away for even a minute can help you come back more focused and less burnt out. I built it using Vibe Coding for logic and CSS for the final styling. Nothing fancy, just clean and functional.
